Spending three trillion earlier this week must not have been enough to sate the appetites of the Washington Wizards, who announced the afternoon of the 12th that they will buy down the principal (not to be confused with principle, of which there is none in sight) on delinquent mortgages. This according to a means test yet to be devised.
Translated, this means that the folks who had little if any business buying a house will get the most help, and at our expense.
The market turned up at this news, as did my stomach.
