100 Hour Emergency Candles

I happen to like the soft glow of candlelight. Regardless, you probably want some around for emergency use. Forget the survival stores and catalogs - just go to Wally World and look for the display of the tall candles they market to Catholics. Look past the scented ones with "stained glass" wrappers (try to restrain yourself!). Somewhere in there you'll usually find plain white unscented candles. They go fast, particularly if I'm ahead of you.

Speaking of inflation these little babies cost about 50% more than a year ago. All the same, they're made in America, burn for 100 hours and still only cost about $1.50

Buy lots!
